I started tracing a picture of mine to create a face on Illustrator expressing anger.

I then followed up to bring it on Photoshop and start using my textures to overlay them and create something out of it.

​

After making the faces I copied and pasted the same face and turned down the opacity to make a shadow effect.

​

I would like to find a better way to use my textures but I need more experiments.

​

I could follow up the developments with a more minimalist approach by filling the outlines of the face and the dark parts with the texture and the rest will be transparent or white as the background.
