JR Alli Response

After seeing JR Alli's videos I really got into video editing, it inspired me to make something too, so I decided to make this video out of my Italy trip.

I created this video using clips and transitions, with the masking tool in Premiere Pro (I will explain it under the image below).

I really like this video maybe because I have an emotional attachment to it. But I like it because I can see my development and skill evolution in hiding transitions and making them ore in sync.

I even trained to make the clips go in time with the music (that I got from Epidemicsound) that was surprisingly harder then I thought, so I'm overall happy.

Masking on Premier Pro can be an incredible long job, depending on clip you have and where you want the transition to start from the approach can be different.

It really took me time to understand this simple process I might of done the same transition 20 time pining points frame by frame, the major issue was the version of Pr in college that wasn't the latest version so it was a bit clanky and sometimes didn't register the pins I made so I had  to do them all over again.

The feeling of finishing a masked transition is really incredible, I loved to see those effects take place one after another, and if done well with logic and preparation can be really smooth and pleasing to the eye.

The major issues were my lack of planning for this video, I had a general idea I wanted to make but didn't really plan it out, so on my video, it think it shows a lack of organisation in the footage but I still like the end result.
