John Baldessari
John Baldessari was born in National City, California in 1931.
Baldessari's artwork has been featured in more than 200 solo exhibitions and in over 1000 group exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe. His projects include artist books, videos, films, billboards, and public works.
I really like the way John approached his work the colors he uses to make them pop contrast and have an impact is really fulfilling to me, it gives me pleasure looking at his work.
There is a mystery behind specific creations such as Stonehenge (With Two Persons) Orange, 2005
that makes me think.
I don't understand why he covers the most important part of the image with color but it hits me seeing that.
And I like his work that much even if I can't understand it, that I'm looking forward to responding to his work.
